The reserve source is intended to supply the system in case of unavailability of both the primary and secondary sources.

Should pressure in the system fall below the source’s calibration value it would automatically come on duty at an outlet pressure close to pipelines working pressure.

This feature is particularly profitable in case of extraordinary required flow by the terminal units.

Operator’s intervention is only needed to activate the lever to supply the pipeline at the standard working pressure.

This device can be installed on every system irrespective of primary and secondary sources of supply configuration.
