The probe allows, following to insertion and locking into the socket of a medical gas terminal unit, the withdrawal of a given gas from the

distribution system.

They are characterized by the interface point between probe and socket complying with French standard AFNOR NF S 90-116. Safety

and performances features comply with EN ISO 9170-1.

In order to prevent dangerous misconnections, dimensional features of connection points are different for each gas.

Metal part are brass—made, surfaces chrome plating reduces contamination to levels much smaller than those specified by applicable

standards and increase wear resistance of mostly stressed areas.

The probe could be provided with an anti-rotation ring which allows suitable orientation of medical equipment and prevents possible accidental

rotation after the connection with the medical gas’ socket.

The plastic coloured ring carries name or symbol of the gas.

Hose insert configurations are supplied with suitable hose clamp.

Female screw threaded configurations are supplied with aluminium gasket.
