Low-pressure hose assemblies for medical gases are intended to connect terminal units of medical gases pipelines to medical equipments as ventilators or laparoscopy insufflators. They are designed and manufactured in such a way to ensure safe and reliable connections and to prevent cross-connection between different gases or services.

Methos low-pressure hose assemblies for medical gases are composed of:

• a PVC (latex-free) flexible hose complying with EN ISO 5359 requirements
• inlet connector (e. g. NIST nipple with nut, probe for terminal units etc,)
• outlet connector (e. g. gas-specific socket, NIST connection point or proprietary fitting for medical equipment)
• clamping ferrules.
