Methos alarm devices are intended to report information relevant to working conditions of a medical gas sources of supply or pipeline distribution systems installed within the different departments.

Devices are basically made of the following parts:

• front panel provided with LCD display, visual and acoustic indicators, test, reset, mute push buttons;
• printed circuit with electronic components and terminals for power supply and signals;
• box for external wall mounting.

Devices are intended to be connected to electronic pressure transducers with following features:

• signal 4-20 mA, power supply 12 VDC
• signal 0,5 – 4,5 V, power supply 12 VDC

or pressure switches (in this case the device will keep under control only one threshold for each channel).

Every detailed anomaly or information can be reported by a 3-wires cable to Methos remote alarm devices (up to 9) installed in a manned area.

Devices are also equipped with two NO/NC outputs for general alarms reporting.

Devices configuration setting (gases, alarm tresholds etc.) is performed by Methos  according to customers requirements. Department description can appear on LCD display as well.

An internal memory allows devices to save up to 60 events (date, time and type of event or anomaly).

Push buttons on the front panel allow the operator to visualize gas pressure values on LCD display.
