Department shut-off valves are installed to allow the isolation of branches of medical gases pipeline systems according to antifire compartmenting. They are normally placed in safe areas.

Most valuable feature of these devices is valves state (open/closed) signal system. It allows local (by means of integrated panel) and remote

(by means of optional electronic panel) auditory/visual signalling.

Signalling is performed by means of visual indicators (leds) GREEN and RED. Shall a valve be closed by the operator, visual indication is

supplemented by an acoustic indicator.

Inlet and outlet connections are made of nickel-plated or pickled brass.

Ball valves are cleaned for oxygen service.

Each valve block is identified by means of a label which shows gas name and flow direction.

Box, frame and door are made of hot-sprayed steel plate.

The front door is equipped with an emergency quick-opening lock and window to allow reading the gauges.

Suitable openings are made on the rim in such a way to prevent gas accumulation in case of internal leakages.

A solid metallic disposable protection cover to prevent damaging and contamination during embedding activities.

Devices are released by the manufacturer completely assembled and tested.
