This page describes the means by which the site www.methos.it is managed with regard to processing and management of the personal data of users who access it. This notice is provided pursuant to Section 13 of Legislative Decree No.196/2003 of the Italian Civil Code regarding the protection of personal data for those who interact with web services accessible through telecommunication as launched from the internet address: http://www.methos.it which is the home page of the site.
The information herein provided applies only to this site and not to other web sites which may be accessed by the user via links.
This statement is prompted by Recommendation No. 2/2001 issued by the European authorities for the protection of personal data in collaboration with the group established by Article 29 of Legislative Directive No. 95/46/EC, adopted on 17 May 2001. This recommendation established the minimum requirements for the collection of personal data online, and in particular, the manner, timing and nature of the information that data managers must supply to users when they connect to the web page, regardless of the purpose of the connection.

The management of data related to the services on this web site is coordinated at the premises of Methos, in the person of Lorenzo Sacchi, with headquarters in Via Padre Carlo Vigevano 18, 20081 Abbiategrasso (MI) and is only handled by the technical personnel of this office, or by others charged with occasional maintenance operations. Personal information provided by users who forward requests to join the site, ask for information material (bulletins, CD-ROMs, newsletters, annual reports, responses to requests, transactions and provisions etc.) is used solely to provide the service or make the provision requested and will be disclosed to third parties only when necessary for that purpose or explicitly authorized.

Computer systems and software procedures used to operate this website acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in Internet communication protocols.
This refers to information is which not collected for association with specific individuals, but rather, information which by its very nature could, through processing and associations with data held by third parties, permit the identification of users.
In this category of data are included IP addresses or domain names of computers used by users who connect to the site, URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) of requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in reply, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters related to the operating system and computer environment of the user.
These data are used only to obtain anonymous statistics on site usage and to monitor its correct functioning and are deleted immediately after processing. The data could be used to ascertain responsibility in case of presumed computer crimes against the site: however, except for this eventuality, data on web contacts is not maintained for more than seven days.
DATA VOLUNTARILY SUPPLIED BY THE USER
The sending of email - optional, explicit and voluntary, to the addresses indicated on this site, implies the subsequent acquisition of the sender’s email address, necessary for responding to requests, as well as any other data included in the message. A specific summary of information will be progressively reported or displayed on web pages dedicated to particular services on request.
COOKIES
We do not use cookies to transmit information of a personal nature. The use of so-called “session cookies” (which are not permanently stored on the user's computer and disappear when the browser is closed) is strictly limited to the transmission of session identifiers (random numbers generated by the server) necessary for enabling the secure and efficient exploration of the site.
The so-called “session cookies” used on this site avoid the use of other techniques potentially prejudicial to the privacy of the users and do not allow the acquisition of personal data leading to user identification.
OPTIONAL PROVISION OF DATA
Apart from data specified for navigation, the user is free to provide personal data when filling in the information as required on Methos request forms, or through contacting Methos offices for the purpose of registering on the website, or when requesting any information or other communications. Failure to provide this information may make it impossible to fulfil requests.
METHOD OF DATA MANAGEMENT
Personal data are processed by automated tools, strictly for the time necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected. Specific security measures are taken to prevent loss, illicit or incorrect use of and unauthorized access to said data.
USERS' RIGHTS
Those have provided their personal data have the right, at any time, to obtain confirmation as to whether such data exists or not, and to be informed on its content and origin, to verify its accuracy or request the integration of information or updates, or corrections (in accordance with Art. 7 of Legislative Decree No. 196/2003).
Pursuant to this Article they shall have the right to request deletion, transformation into anonymous form or blockage of data processed unlawfully, and for legitimate reasons they may also oppose the management of said data.
